
NARRATIVE
1. BACKSTORY
INFINITY : Infinity is an online sci-fi game developed by Callister Inc. Often called the master piece of Robert Daly. During our campaign, it will be in the launching phase, with a lot of marketing related activities to promote it and get new players interested.
CALLISTER MARKETING DEPARTMENT : Not agreeing with Robert Dalys working method is one of the key factors that lead to the neglection of this team. Even if they are trying their best, their strategies are frustrated most of the time by the punctuality and tardiness of the creator of the game. It is conformed by Gillian and Ciaran. Both had argues with Robert daly, and a clone computer avatar ended in their game.
INFLUENCERS/EVENT GUESTS : They are part of Robert Daly’s big plan to capture as many people as possible in his mod. When he dies at the end of the episode, in a rage attack he decides, to bring everyon to his mod, torture them and notify them via email.
SPACE FLEET : Situated in a galaxy, where multiple aliens try to gather cristal to destryo and conquer other planets, the USS callister troop is here to persecute them and bring them to justice. Originally aired in 1984, this cheesy Sci Fi show was a huge inspiration for a lot of 80s and 90s kids.
2. KEY CHARACTERS
We will rely heavily in three characters. One is already existing in the IP and the others are new assets.

Robert Daly is the Chief Technical Officer of Callister Inc. He is one of the main coder of Infinity game. He secretly owns a mod of the game where he can put people that he wants into it thanks to their DNA.

Hopes: To be accepted and love by people. To get recognized by his job on Callister.

Fears : Being rejected by female personalities. That people find out his psychopathic nature.
​
Behaviours: He is always distracted. Doesn’t have a concrete measure of time or deadlines. Has problems acquiring leadership conversation. Looks really annoyed all the time. He has a hard time socializing.
Chief Technical Officer
ROBERT DALY

Eva is a young famous gaming influencer. She is one of the first lucky person to have the hands on Infinity game. She participates the reviewers video. She discovers at the end the whole evil plan of Robert Daly.

Hopes: Get world wide recognition. Keep playing video games for a living. Being a role model for young girls.

Fears : Strangers talking to her. Stalkers. Losing his audience.Being disliked.
​
Behaviours: She is a very low energy person when she is alone, but when she is talking in one of her vlog when is the most enthusiastic person ever.

He is part of the Marketing service of Callister Inc. He is a good friend a Gillian his colleague. He is in charge of diffusing all of the communication of Infinity game. He ends up being put in the game by Robert Daly.

Hopes: Finding a girlfriend. Being able to have more time to play videogames. Have his bad jokes recognized.

Fears: Finding out something really horrible about Callister. Having bad reputation career wise.

Behaviours: Clumsy, Stuttering. Laughs really awkwardly all the time. Chews gum all the time.

3. CAMPAIGN SYNOPSIS
A quick and easy to understand overview of our transmedia campaign, divided in three parts; each one with their highlights and goals.
Part 1
We aim to create hype around a game that its potentially going to be developed by Black Mirror: INFINITY. This game has its own Social Media, where we can see documentaries on how it was made. We get to know Robert Daly, the creator of the game, who is deeply influenced by Space Fleet, an eighties Sci-Fi show. Also, we now the marketing team, Ciaran and Gillian, which sign all Social Media created content. Also, with reviews, hands-on and interview we get to know, Eva Eleven a gaming influencer, which, everytime she speaks she steals the spotlight. In this part we expect people to get immersed in the world surrounding the corporative part of INFINITY and Callister Inc, with posts, websites and branded content. In that way we can lure them to our Episode Premiere event.
Part 2
The main part of this part is the Episode Premiere. In the event we will ask people to sign a contract,and to take picture of their faces for monitoring and safety reasons. In reality if they read the contract closely, they will see that they are giving us the right to use their personal image. It is important to highlight that the audience will feel in an actual gaming office, but when the gaming release is about to start they will realize that in fact this is a Black Mirror episode. Even the main character, (Robert Daly) will walk around them and invite them to a Cocktail Space Fleet themed party. The participants, will receive Space Fleet merchandise, and Infinity merchandise. As well, they are expected that at this point of the campaign, they have watched our Space Fleet web series, and Web comics. If they hadn't done it, they will be triggered by the invitation to the aforementioned cocktail party. To conclude,when they leave the party, they receive a code to use in a specific date with an specific URL, from part of netflix.
Part 3
The episode is presented in the date that was announced in the trailer. After one week, the persons that assisted to the event received and email from Robert Daly. This email will contain an image of themselves tortured by Robert Daly’s virtual persona (since he died at the end of the episode). We will achieve this by rendering the photo that we took in the event and putting it in a 3d model. Also, they will have the option to share it, invite people to have the same experience, and to use the code that was given to them by netflix at the end of the event. When they share the image, this will create a large amount of people talking about it in social media. When they invite people, to have the same experience they will send a link to an App.That will allow everyone that downloads it to scan their face,and use it in different torturing scenarios. When they use the code provided by netflix, they will be redirected to the USS Callister with an alternative ending, featuring Eva Eleven.
4. BUSINESS PLAN
Launch official merchandise for Space Fleet, Infinity and Callister Inc that can be bought online. Partner with IGN to create exclusive branded content for the INFINITY game. Partner with Marvel online comic service to provide the audience with a Space Fleet graphic novel. Partner with absolut vodka to have an especial alien Space Fleet edition, than can be served in the event. Partner with NVIDIA to create the best 3d model simulation using the pictures. Release an APP, powered by NVIDIA, in Appstore and Google Play store in which people can see their terrible fate it they end up in Robert Daly’s mod.
